IID Policy Review Committee

The PSA board member serving as the liaison between the committee and the PSA board is TBA. The committee:

• Works to develop recommendations to submit to the PSA board for Meet and Confer process for IID policies, programs and practices concerning rules, regulations and working conditions.
• Assists the PSA board in analyzing how policy trends impact activities and performance
• Assists the PSA board in fulfilling its oversight responsibility for the Meet and Confer process by periodically assessing and responding to risks that may arise in connection with employees, work environment, and policy aspects of IID business

Plan of work:

• Meet, review and make recommendations on IID policies for the Meet and Confer process.
• Research industry standards
• Review and recommend
• Solicit outside comments (with employees who may be impacted)
• Combine and edit comments on IID policies
• Present recommendations to PSA board for Meet and Confer process

PSA Bylaws Update Committee

The current bylaws are out of date and are in need of revision. Members will be presented the changes and will be given the opportunity to vote to accept or reject them. Board liaison: TBD

Scholarship Committe

Working on offering 2012 scholarships for youth of dues-paying members, and scholarships to PSA members as well. Board liaisons: TBD
